The school was founded in 1986 to address the lack of quality early childhood programs in the area. The founders aimed to offer half-day sessions that focused on families and balanced structured activities with valued free play.
When the program expanded in 2001, a new educator was hired who had experience working with special needs children through an outreach program. This educator’s expertise and one-on-one work with children with special needs made her a valuable addition to the team.
In 2012, another certified Elementary school teacher joined the staff, bringing additional depth and educational approach to our programs. All members of the teaching staff are certified RECE’s and continue their professional development by attending workshops, conducting research in child development, and staying current with First Aid certifications.
